The City of Hastings Public Works Department is responsible for the management, distribution, maintenance, and 24/7 monitoring of the City's municipal water supply system. The water supply system is comprised of:

• 6 Well Pump Sites
• 2 Water Towers
• 1 Ground Storage Tank
• 1 Water Treatment Plant
• 1,300 Fire Hydrants
• 108 miles of Water Main Piping
