Transformation of Hudson Manufacturing into Great Rivers Landing continues!  Confluence Development is under construction and when completed will be a true mixed use redevelopment including apartments, a boutique hotel, and commercial retail spaces.  The riverfront adjacent to the site would become enhanced park space linking the building to the Mississippi River.  Portions of the facility will open in 2021 with a full opening in 2022.

HEDRA has been fortunate to receive nearly three million dollars in grant funding to offset acquisition, environmental, and demolition costs. Environmental cleanup is currently underway.

Funding for site cleanup is provided by U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup, Metropolitan Council Tax Base Revitalization Account, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Contamination Cleanup, and Dakota County Redevelopment Incentive Grant programs.   The cleanup of the Sites will remove blight and be a catalyst for further redevelopment in the area.
