Community members are invited to visit Hastings City Hall on Saturday, January 20 for guided tours highlighting the history, art and architecture of the building.
City Hall is home to the historic Dakota County Courthouse that was designed by A.M. Radcliff, one of Minnesota’s first architects. Historical paintings and artifacts tell the story of Hastings history.
Local volunteers will lead tours on the hour at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 and 1:00 p.m.
The tours are sponsored by the Arts & Culture Commission in collaboration with the Pioneer Room and the Hastings Historical Society.
