Party WagonParty Wagon

  • Reserve the Party Wagon for your next gathering 
  • Available 7 days a week
  • Rental fees apply
  • Please note: The party wagon can only be reserved by people who live within Hastings' city limits. If you live in a township, you cannot reserve the party wagon.

The Party Wagon contains:

  • 6 tables & 40 folding chairs
  • 2 beverage dispensers (10 gallon)
  • 1 chest cooler 
  • 1 free standing shade canopy (approx. 10'x10')
  • A variety of games such as: tug of war, potato sacks, croquet, and much more!

Park Shelters

  • A variety of facilities located within the City's park system are available for use by the public.
  • For exclusive use of a facility for a certain date, a shelter reservation is required and can be made by contacting the Parks & Recreation office at least 2 days in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental fees must be paid when the reservation form is submitted.

Levee Park

Levee Park - 20 Ramsey Street, Hastings, MN 55033

The Rotary Pavilion is an open air, multi-use facility located in Levee Park. Constructed in 2015, the pavilion can host gatherings from small family events to larger, community or private groups. Its strategic location within the newly renovated Levee Park provides for a beautiful view of the Mississippi River, a Veterans Memorial as a backdrop, and other complementary amenities that will make your event one to remember. Amenities include: indoor bathrooms, garbage and recycling containers, 120 volt electrical and 50 amp event power, integral pick points, and six picnic tables.

Approximate Maximum Capacity - Banquet seating: 300 people, Theater seating: 350 people

 

Lions Park

Lions Park - 1043 5th St W, Hastings, MN 55033

This shelter doubles as a warming house in the winter but has two large garage doors that can be opened to give it an open-air feel. Located in a neighborhood park, amenities include indoor restroom, drinking fountain, electricity, playground, softball field, and a multipurpose field.

 

Approximate Maximum Capacity - 25-30 people

 

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park - 801 15th St W, Hastings, MN 55033

An open-air picnic shelter in a neighborhood park. Amenities include portable toilet, off-street parking, electricity in the shelter, playground, baseball field, softball field, basketball courts and sand volleyball courts.

Approximate Maximum Capacity - 30-35 people

 

Roadside Park

Roadside Park - 510 11th St W, Hastings, MN 55033

An open-air picnic shelter located next to the Hastings Family Aquatic Center off Hwy 55. Amenities include portable toilet, off-street parking, electricity in the shelter, and a playground. There are also tennis and pickleball courts located across Hwy 55 from the park.

Vermillion Falls Park

Vermillion Falls Park - 215 21st St E, Hastings, MN 55033

This open-air picnic shelter is located by the picturesque Vermillion Falls. Amenities include portable toilet, off-street parking, electricity in the shelter, and direct access to the City's loop trail system.

Approximate Maximum Capacity - 35-40 people

    • Up to 4 pickleball courts can be rented at any one time for exclusive use by the renter
    • Cost is $20/court/hour for Residents
    • Cost is $40/court/hour for Non-Residents
