The Hastings Public Arts Grant Task Force is currently seeking artists to submit projects for consideration in the 2015/2016 call for public artwork.
The first wave of art will be featured as part of our Riverfront Renaissance project taking place in Levee Park on the riverfront in downtown Hastings. The City of Hastings has invested considerable resources in rejuvenating the riverfront to welcome residents and visitors to this treasured area of our city. A major component of the Riverfront Renaissance is the Rotary Pavilion, a community gathering space that will host a variety of community events and performances. The proposed public art locations are highly visible and will be easily viewed and enjoyed by all who gather at the pavilion or visit the riverfront area.
Interested artists can review the concept, site map, proposed budget, requirements to submit artwork, timeline, and entry form below. Deadline for entries is 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2016.
